This chairpad is my original design and hooked by me in a primitive hooking style. It is hooked with 100% wool fabric strips in a wide cut and the edge is whipped by hand with wool yarn.
 
       Since the American southwest has the greatest number of pinto ponies in the world, this chair pad has been hooked in colors representing that region and with stylized decorations. The desirable patterns of pintos were found in ancient artworks and continue to be used today in decorative pottery, home decorating and hooked rugs
